Biography

Amelia Marckworth is the Director of Community Engagement at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics. Amelia also teaches two undergraduate entrepreneurship courses at the Albers School of Business and Economics and serves as the Co-City Lead for Founders Live Seattle, a monthly startup pitch competition with chapters in 100+ cities. She has coached dozens of startup companies from around the world on their investment pitches and business plans and volunteers on the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) Startup Committee, advising program strategy and community needs for early-stage startups in Washington State. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Societies and Justice at the University of Washington and a Master of Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University.
